I am an accomplished novelist, short-story writer, poet, and essayist. My collection of craft-of-writing essays, Millions of Suns: On Writing and Life, was named one of Poets & Writers Magazine’s “Best Books for Writers” and was the winner of a National Indie Excellence Award.
